Bluff
Tackling around 20kms of the Bibbulmun track this weekend - no overnight stay though. Calf muscle pulled last Saturday running twice around the Deepwater Pt circuit. Funny because I can cycle fine but running/walking hurts. I had a good run last Thu night with a 12km run involving a 2min neg split. Soccer final on Sunday, son’s U18 team beaten. Gunners doing well in EPL!! Major car repairs to our Daihatsu Sirion and Corolla. Now I know why I cycle!!
We have Bluff Knoll on the long weekend so that should be a challenge. Haven’t heard how our cyclosportif team went in York. It was a long 108km ride - no room for the faint hearted.
Life is just really busy at the moment. I hope to get some continuity/ routine back in my training.
I hope I can get enough training in for the 19 Oct Rottnest Marathon. Wil probably do the John Gilmour on 31/10 as this man was once Matt’s running coach - great guy and WA running legend.
